If I have a stone biome nearby then I'm ready to create a strategically positioned base near them both. curving your coastal searches to stay realistically near the Beefalo area. If you find Beefalo then you can note their position and continue mapping territory and looking for a rock biome. If you find a savannah, completely explore it for Beefalo.
